DR. FRED HORWITZ, 73, for-
mer Detroiter of Ellenville, N.Y., died
April 9, 2006 in New York City. He was
a graduate of Central High School,
University -of Michigan (pre-med)
and University of Michigan Medical
School. He practiced in Ellenville for
43 years.
Dr. Horwitz is survived by his wife,
Carmen of Ellenville; daughters and
son-in-law, Jodi and Robert Car11
of Conesus, N.Y., Cindy Horwitz of
Redwood, Calif.; son and daughter-
in-law, Nicholas and Jerrie Sylvester
of Middletown, N.Y.; niece, Janice
Bonney of Colorado Springs; grand-
children, Gillian, Emily and Hayden
Cull; sister, Rhoda Rosenthal of Oak
Park. He was the beloved son of the
late Rose and Dr. John Horwitz.
A memorial service will be held in
Ellenville on May 20. Contributions
may be made to a charity of one's
choice.

HOWARD ISKOW, 55, of West
Bloomfield, died April 16, 2006.
He is survived by his mother, Elaine
Iskow of West Bloomfield; daughter
Elizabeth Iskow of Florida; brother,
Jeffrey Iskow of Boca Raton, Fla.; sis-
ter, Carol Allen of Farmington Hills;
many loving family members and
friends. He was the dear son of the
late Julius Iskow; brother of the late
Ronnie Iskow.
Interment at the Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to the American Diabetes Association
or to the National Kidney Foundation.

RUTH KORBY, 71, of Livonia, died
April 16, 2006.
She is survived by her beloved hus-
band, Sheldon Korby; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Gordon and Jeri Korby of
Columbus, Ohio, Alan and Lisa Korby
of Novi; daughter and son-in-law,
Jodi and Mike Brandt of Wyandotte;
brother and sister-in-law, Gary and
Sandi Faber of West Bloomfield; sis-
ter and brother-in-law, Shirley and
Harold Rosenberg of Farmington
Hills; grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey,
Andrew, Zachary and Ryan.

BRONIA KORMAN, 90, of
Southfield, died April 13, 2006.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Lee and Amy
Korman of Columbia, Md., Michael
and Naomi Korman of Boca Raton,
Fla., Eddie and Barbara Korman of
Brooklyn, N.Y.; numerous grandchil-
dren. She was the beloved wife of the
late Sholom Korman.

SIDNEY MILIN, 96, of Southfield,
died April 11, 2006.
He is survived by his daughter, Dr.
Judi Milin of Idyllwild, Calif.; son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Bruce and Zoe
Milin of San Francisco; sister and
brother-in-law, Nettie and Robert
Rubinstein of West Bloomfield; grand-
children, Steven Milin, Jimmy Grusky-
Issel and Samuel Grusky-Milin; many
loving nieces, nephews, family mem-
bers and friends. He was the beloved
husband of the late Lillian Milin.
