SpringElation Supports JARC

From noon to 4 p.m. April 30, JARC 'will host its 8th annual
family-friendly Spring.Elation event.at Joe Dumars Fieldhouse in Shelby
Township. JARC will have exclusive use of the facility and will offer

entertainment by D. Brown of StarTrax, basketball, in-line skating,
beach volleyball, carnival and arcade games, high ropes course,
climbing wall, miniature golf, a giant slide, face painting, laser tag and
more. The kosher Milk & Honey restaurant will cater the event.
Proceeds will support JARC's Merle and Shirley Harris Children and
Family Division.
Event sponsorships are available. Tickets are $20 and include the
cost of all games and food. Children age 4 and younger are free.

unteers. "The seder at the Grand
home only took place because
someone took the time to come
in and share," said Kelly Rice,
JARC direct support professional.
Said Scherr,"The more you
see the inclusive life JARC clients
are living, the more you want to
be involved- and you can't help
but feel good about volunteer-
ing time. So, if they'll have me at
their seder again next year, I'll be
