Community Forum On
Darfur This Sunday
The Jewish News and the Jewish
Community Council will host a
community forum on the Darfur
genocide. The forum is at 1 p.m.
Sunday, April 16, at the Jewish
Community Center on W. 10 Mile,
east of Greenfield, in Oak Park.
Sponsor is the Detroit 2 Darfur
Coalition.
Matthew Emry, senior program
officer for emergencies and disas-
ters at the American Jewish World
Service in New York, will speak.
The program will include Sudanese
expatriates and a video on Darfur.
The Detroit 2 Darfur Coalition
also includes the Jewish Federation
of Metropolitan Detroit and the
Holocaust Memorial Center, among
others.

coalition-organized Detroit contin-
gent heading to the Rally to Stop
Genocide set for 1 p.m. Sunday,
April 30, at Washington's National
