well known. She was active with the
pharmaceutical students in Ann
Arbor. A member of B'nai B'rith and
the Rotary Club in Israel, she was .
an involved member of CHUG and
was involved with the University of
Living in Ann Arbor as well as being
an active supporter of the Israeli
Philharmonic.
Mrs. Carmi is survived by a son
and daughter-in-law, Shlomo and
Rachel Carmi; daughter and son-
in-law, Ilana and Ari Gafui of Ann
Arbor; grandchildren, Sharone and
Andrew Scherr, Ronen Itzhak Carmi,
Lemore Carmi and Gilad Eichhorn,
Iris and Adam Gafui-Kane, Osnal
Gafui and Orna Gafui; great-grand- .
children, Jacob, Jordan and Joshua
Scherr, Liora Eichhorn, Arnon
Gafui-Kane. She was the beloved
wife of the late Shmuel Carmi;
devoted sister of four brothers and
three sisters.
Interment in Israel. Contributions
may be made to a charity of one's
choice. Arrangements by Ira
