Joshua Isaac Gendelman, son of Suzanne Gendelman and Michael Gendelman, will be called to the bimah as he celebrates his bar mitz- vah, Friday, March 31, at Temple Israel. He is the brother of Jennifer and Samuel. Sharing the simchah will be his grandpar- ents Sheila and Max Gendelman and Nancy and Nathan Kolender. He is Gendelman also the grand- child of the late . Judy Kolender. His proud great-grand -- mothers - are Sara Gendelman, Belle Katz,- Nettie Rothenberg and Ethel Rossrnan. Josh attends Orchard Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield. He felt it was especially meaningful to volunteer at Gleaners Food Bank in Detroit as one of his mitzvah projects. Jonathan Lincoln Greenhut, son of Dr. Saul Greenhut and Ms. Nancy Cronk, formerly of Ann Arbor now of Aurora, Colo., will become bar mitzvah on Saturday, April 1, at Temple Sinai Reform Synagogue in Denver, Colo. His brothers are Adam and Greenhut Jonathan. Proud grandparents are Lillian Greenhut of West Bloomfield and George and Carolyn Cronk of Berkley. Jonathan attends Falcon Creek Middle School and is in seventh grade. His. mitzvah project involved collect- ing money and clothing for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Proud grandparents are Barbara Kahn and Rosalie Sosnick. He is also the grandson of the late Sherwood Kahn and the late J.C. Sosnick. Joshua attends Cranbrook Kingswood in Bloomfield Hills. She is also the grandchild of the late Sam Katz. Dana attends Norup Middle School Silverstein in Oak Park. Her most meaningful mitzvah project was helping with food distribution for Yad Ezra in Berkley.
