Adat Shalom synagogue recently
had 24 ambassadors of good will
in Los Angeles. The students, all
part of the synagogue's Nosh 'n
Drash program, traveled to L.A.
to do tikkun olam (repairing the
world) projects. They cooked
dinner for residents of PATH, a
homeless shelter, sang songs at a
Jewish nursing home and met with
recovering addicts at a Jewish
treatment home. Shown are Barrie
