MARTIN NEWMAN, 67, of Southfield,
died March 20, 2006. He was a com-
mercial electrician.
Mr. Newman is survived by his
companion, Janet Belenson; daugh-
ters, Cheryl Newman of Arizona,
Marcie Newman of Arizona; son,
Mark Newman of Walled Lake; Janet's
children, Darrel Belenson, Randi and
Kevin Resnick and their daughter,
Hannah Resnick; sister, Phyllis Coit
of Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law,
Dr. Steven and Katie Newman of
Bloomfield Hills, Dr. Donald Newman

WILLIAM J. SAULSON, 81, a former
Detroiter of Phoenix, died March 4,
2006.
Mr. Saulson- was the former owner
of Clark Lumber Manufacturing Co.,
founder and CEO of Capital Financial
Services, board member of Jewish
Free Loan and a Sky
Harbor Navigator.
Most of all, he was a
devoted and loving
husband, father and
grandfather.
He is survived by
Saulson
Maxine, his ador-
ing wife of 54 years; children Nancy,
Gary (Laura) and Saul (Beth); grand-
children, Jason and Emily Zaler and
Jennifer, Bradley and Joshua Saulson,
who all brought him so much joy.

CHARNA BLOOM SEGAL, 50, of
West Bloomfield, died March 23, 2006.
An attorney, she graduated Michigan
State University and Detroit College of
Law. She was the director of the legal
department at Baker College and also
was a teacher at Temple Beth El. Mrs.
Segal also volunteered throughout the
community.
She is survived by her loving hus-
band, Randy; daughters•manda and
Jennifer; mother-in-law} Lorraine. She
was the only daughter of the late Beril
Bloom.
