"This show is an opportunity for our older adults to experience the pleasure and excite- ment of a wedding, without the difficulties of planning or, for some of our distance-limited people, even attending one,' said Janet Antin, Fleischman program director and coordinator of the event. Members of the "bridal party" included flower girls, ring bearers, mothers-of-the-bride and escorts. Gowns were loaned from the Bridal Canopy, a nonprofit organization that assists Jewish brides with bridal attire. Blumberg Plaza was the site of the nuptials, including a chuppah (wedding canopy) lent by administrator Barbra Giles.
