JOHN LEONARD BIRDSONG, 64, of
Southfield, died March 4, 2006.
He was a member of the Theatre
Group of Prime Time Players at Ford
Senior Center, the Mid Michigan
Poodle Club and the South Eastern
Poodle Club. He was a Peace Corps
member.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Linda Birdsong; sisters-in-law and
brother-in-law, Eileen Birdsong,
Marcie (Sheldon) Weinstein; other
family members, Lilly "Aunt Dee"
Gordon, Faye (Abe) Brickner, Abba
(Rena) Shapiro and Bernice Levin;
also survived by many loving nieces,
nephews, cousins, friends and four-
legged animals.
He was the dear son of the late
George Purnell Birdsong and the late
Ellabee Birdsong; son-in-law of the
late Norman and Yetta Kagan; brother
of the late George Purnell Birdsong
Jr., the late Ray Beatrice Tolleson and
the late DorothyNell Holloway.
Interment at Temple Israel Gardens
of Beth El Memorial Park.
