How did you get started?
I started out right after college in the
late 1970s at Channel 7 as a produc-
tion assistant, then moved up the
ranks and left as a producer.
When did you start your produc-

together and travel together and get to
tell these stories together, and that's
really meaningful.
In terms of production, we've done
a series in reruns now on the
Discovery Channel that we shot all
over the world. I'm working with
Singapore right now to develop a
series on Singapore and Southeast
Asia. It's a really interesting mix of
work.
What's been you most memorable
film?
Out of all the work that I've done —
and I've produced literally hundreds
and hundreds of pieces — what was
most meaningful to me was the work I
did with the Shoah Foundation. I'm
the person who brought the Spielberg
