WHAT TO DO The 88,000-square-foot indoor
waterpark, Avalanche Bay, is getting rave reviews
from all-age kids — and their parents — for attrac-
tions like the Splasherhorn Play Structure, Rip
Zone-Surf Simulator and South Wall-Wet

Climbing Wall. After drying off, kids flock to the
100-game arcade. The Solace Spa has become a
destination of its own, with private men's and
women's saunas, steam treatments, hot tubs and
more. Try the Sands of Time treatment, which
pays tribute to west Michigan's magnificent dunes
through a luxurious sequence of body polishing
and a wrap, massage, hydrotherapy bath and an
anti-aging eye treatment and mask. Another
