Schreiber of Burlington; brother and
sister-in-law, Edward and Carolyn
Schreiber of Huntington Woods.

STANFORD SOBEL, 86, former
Detroiter of New York, died Feb. 2,
2006. He graduated from the
University of Michigan in 1941 with a
bachelor of science degree in physical
chemistry. He also won a Hopwood
Playwriting Award at U-M and worked
as a freelance industrial film writer.
Mr. Sobel was a president of IPI, a psy-
chological test publisher and he was a
member of the Players Club, a private
club of actors, directors and writers. In
Blauvelt, N.Y., he formed the Blauvelt
Cub Scout Pack.
