JFS Offers Mediation
Jewish Family Service is offering
mediation services for disputes of all
kinds. Mediation can be used for most
any situation and is a less-costly alter-
native to hiring an attorney and going
before a judge.
In the mediation, the two (or more)
sides sit with a neutral party to dis-
cuss the dispute, w ith the agreement
in advance that the parties will abide
by the decision of the mediator. A fair
and mutual agreement is almost
always reached.
The fee for mediation is $150 per
hour. Mediator Stanley "Hank" Marx is
available by appointment at the JFS
Orley Family Building in West Bloom-
field. Call JFS, (248) 592-2300.
