Fred and JoAnne Novice purchased the Torah to honor the recent bat mitzvah of daughter Taylor. The ceremony will marry the Torah to Chaye Olam under a cliuppah. Cantor Stephen Dubov and guest Rabbi Aaron Bergman will officiate. Jews In Sports Temple Israel's Goodman Family Judaic and Archival Museum presents an exhibit titled "Stars of David: Jews in the World of Sports." The exhibit features memorabilia from Jewish sports legends as well as spotlight local sports heroes with ties to Detroit. The museum honors sports heroes with ties to Temple Israel. Dads, Daughters Dance The Adat Shalom Men's Club will hold its annual Daddy-Daughter Dinner Dance on Sunday, March 5. Daughters ages 3-13 and their dads and grand- dads will dance from 5 to 7 p.m. The evening will include pizza, a commemorative photo and compli- mentary boutonnieres and corsages for all pre-registered participants.
