elissa Schaumberg and Stuart Lander were married recently at the
Roostertail in Detroit. The wedding was officiated by the Landers'
family friend Rabbi Alan Plancy of London, England, and Cantor
Shimon Craimer of New York.
Melissa is the daughter of Ellie and Joel Schaumberg of Wolverine Lake;
Stuart is the son of Sue and Greg Lander of London.
Jennifer Schaumberg-Chizaver, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor;
and the best man was Daniel Chalfen, best friend of the groom.
With much exhilaration Natan Segal, 4-year-old nephew of the groom, was
deputy best man and ring bearer. The couple were very happy to have the bride's
grandparents Rosa and Julius Schaumberg in attendance.
The couple had a magnificent honeymoon in Morocco and flew directly to
their new home and life in. San Francisco, California.

Kay-Saks

obyn Jennifer Saks and Steven Jason Kay were recently married at
Knollwood Country Club, West Bloomfield. Rabbi Jennifer Tisdale of
Temple Israel officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Stewart and E.J. Saks of West Bloomfield. The
groom is the son of Ronald Kay of Farmington Hills, Sharon Kay of Oak Park
and the late Bobbi Kay.
. The couple were thrilled to have their family and friends participate in the
ceremony. Amy Saks, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids
included Stephanie Eisenberg, sister of the groom; Alyssa Kay, sister-in-law of
the groom; and Melissa Scher, friend of the bride.
Dr. Michael Sherman, friend of the groom, served as the best man.
Groomsmen included Jeff Kay, brother of the groom; Ed Eisenberg, brother-in-
law of the groom; and Dr. Blake Berman, friend of the groom. Nicole and Ashley
Kay served as the adorable flower girls.
Following a honeymoon in Maui and Kaui, the couple reside in West
Bloomfield.
