Geoff looking for excuses, such
as birthdays and football
games, to drive to Ann Arbor
over 'the next few months. They

"I was trying to be cool and
not let her think I was making
all those trips to Ann Arbor just
to see her, but I know she saw
through it," he recalled.
During the next three and
half years, Geoff accumulated
40,000 miles and five speeding

became engaged in 2004.
