Mort Meisner, president of Huntington
Woods-based Mort Meisner Associates,
has been selected by Epoch Restaurant
Group of Novi to handle its public rela-
tions and marketing.

The Detroit-based Barbara Ann
Karmanos Cancer Institute has created
a new board of directors to oversee
patient care facilities. Arhong the new
members are Kenneth Eisenberg of
Bloomfield Hills, chairman and CEO of
Kenwal Steel Corp. in Dearborn; Dr.
Robert R. Frank of Bloomfield Hills,
interim dean of Wayne State University
School of Medicine in Detroit; Dr.
Melvin Lester of Franklin, former
senior vice president of Harper
University Hospital in Detroit.

Jonathan Liebman, president of Specs
Howard School of Broadcast Arts in
Southfield, has been appointed to the
16-member board of the Higher
Education Authority, which helps pro-
vide Michigan students with optimum
access to the financial support to pur-
sue a higher education.

Lon Grossman, president of
Technihouse Inspections Inc. of
Bloomfield Hills, recently earned the
Certified Real Estate Inspector (CRI)
designation by passing the required
examination and meeting the require-
ments set forth by the board of direc-
tors of the National Association of
Home Inspectors (NAHI). The desig-
nation is bestowed upon home inspec-
tors who demonstrate their knowledge
and proficiency in all aspects of home
inspection. A Certified Real Estate
Inspector must maintain continuing
education credits to remain in the pro-
gram. Grossman is also a Detroit Free

Fran Victor of West Bloomfield was
inducted into the Silver Circle of the
National Academy of television arts
and sciences. The achievement award
