She raised champion whippets and a Rhodesian Ridgeback; her dogs were awarded with American Kennel Club, Canadian, Bermuda and U.S. champion titles. She was a member of the Greenwich Kennel Club and the American Whippet Club and a founding member of the Woodlands Community Temple in White Plains, N.Y. MARVIN NOVICK, 74, of Oak Park, died Feb. 5, 2006. He was a CPA with Deloitte Touche, who retired in 1984. In 1968, the Oak Park Jaycees selected him for inclusion in Outstanding Young Men of America. In addition, he had served as chief oper- ating officer for Blue Novick Shield of Michigan, president of the Oak Park Board of Education, chair of the Oak Park Millage Committee, vice president of B'nai B'rith Centennial Lodge and of Temple Beth El's Married Group. As an extremely active member of the community, Mr. Novick also served as president of Temple Beth El and treasurer of its endowment fund. He had held the office of president of the Michigan Association of Emotionally Disturbed Children, chair of the 18th Congressional District of the Democratic Party, chairman of the board of Providence Hospital and
