auren Whitefield and Jonathan Sterling were recently married at Temple
• Israel. Rabbi Harold Loss, Rabbi Paul Yedwab, Rabbi Josh Bennett, Rabbi
Marlas Hornsten, Rabbi Jennifer Tisdale, Cantor Michael Smolash and
cantorial soloist Neil Michaels officiated. Lauren is the daughter of Ellen and
Marc Whitefield of Bloomfield Hills. Jonathan is the son of Janis and Eric
Sterling of Westlake, Calif. '
Johannah Whitefield, the bride's sister, was the maid of honor. The brides-
maids were sister-in-law Wendy Sterling, Alissa Bauer, Rachel Berger, Annie
Cherniack, Kerstynn Davidson, Shayna Levine, Caroline Jean Sandusky and
Leah Zaiger. .
The groom's brothers James and Kevin Sterling served as best men.
Groomsmen included Josh Austin, Sam Eghbalieh, Jacob Glucksman, Bradley

Karp, Rob McCallum, Jason Smiehkel and Alan Stuart.
Lauren and Jonathan were thrilled to have their grandmothers Rosetta
Whitefield, Ruth Lax and Barbara Fink participate in the ceremony.
The couple reside in Royal Oak.

elly Masters and Brian Raf were married recently at the Henry Ford
Estate in Dearborn. Rabbi Tamara Kolton of the Birmingham Temple
officiated.
Kelly is the daughter of Karen Masters of Bloomfield Hills. Brian is the son of
Kitty and Bob Raf of West Bloomfield.
The couple were honored to have Cindy Parker and Leslie Finkel as maids of
honor and Ryan Lash as best man. In addition, the bride's friends Cheryl Palmer
and Sarah Ambrose served as bridesmaids along with the groom's sisters Stacey
Raf and Mindy Raf.
The groomsmen included friends Ken Barr, Hahn Kim, Michael Estlick,
Shankar Viswanathan and Jon Graff.
After the wedding, the couple spent their honeymoon in Aruba. They reside in
Boston, Mass., where Kelly is a graduate student at Tufts University and Brian is
a microprocessor architect for Advanced Micro Devices.
