A Jewish Story

JET stages Donald Margulies'

MONDAY NIGHT SPECIAL

ti

John Lepard as novelist Eric Weiss and Shannon Nicole Locke as Melanie,
a film producer

Special to the Jewish News

ric Weiss' novel hits the best-
. seller list and, suddenly, he's
famous. His life as a profes-

on a fast track, but his personal life
seems to be plummeting. Among

the humor-filled dialogue and deft
characterization that have been the
hallmarks of his 25-year career.
"Margulies writes like another
famous playwright, Tennessee
Williams," explained Chris Bremer,
who's taking a turn as Brooklyn Boy's
director, although his primary job is
that of managing director of JET.
"Williams always disarmed the
audience with humor to get them
laughing, then drove home the tragic
