Rabbi Pachter and Cantor Berris

Learning Service

Congregation B'nai Moshe's Rabbi
Elliot Pachter and Cantor Earl G.
Berris will offer a Shabbat morning
service at the synagogue Saturday,
Feb. 4, designed to answer questions
about the prayers and to enable par-
ticipation.
The service will be at 9:30 a.m. in
the chapel. There will also be a regu-
lar, full Shabbat service that morning.
Rabbi Pachter and Cantor Berris
will teach throughout the service. Both
the main service and learning service
will conclude at noon with Kiddush.
There will also be a Stay and Learn
on Shabbat study session sponsored
by the Kolel Moshe Institute for
Lifelong Jewish Learning, led by Allan
Gale. There is no charge.

All About Judaism

Temple Israel will offer an introduc-
tion to Judaism class, sponsored by

the temple's Life-Long Learning
Center. It will teach about Jewish tra- •
ditions, history, holiday celebrations
and Israel.
Classes will be taught by Temple
Israel clergy and held at the temple on
Tuesday evenings,from 7:30-9:30
p.m., beginning Jan. 31 and continu-
ing through the beginning of May.

Temple Kol Arai Brotherhood Shabbat

Mysticism Class

A four-part course on spiritual growth
through giving, "Nice Kabbalists
Finish First," will be offered Thursday
nights in February in Birmingham.
The class is being taught by Rabbi
Boruch Cohen of the Birmingham-

p.m.
