Here's Your Chance

We want to feature a photograph each
week to accompany this Synagogue List.
Your congregations are busy doing special
things all the time. This is a great place to
showcase them. We're looking for candid
photographs featuring action - nothing
posed. Please submit photos to us for con-
sideration. We will share the wealth and
rotate among the congregations.

We prefer digital images sent by e-mail. High
resolution. High quality. Timely. Not too many
people. Full identification - name and city as
well as the ages of children. With your pho-
tos, send information about the event -
what, who, when, where and why. Include a
contact and daytime phone number. Send it
all to Sy Manello at smanello@thejewish-
news.com or call (248) 351-5147.

Giving Tzedakah

If one has parents who are
unable to support themselves,
the primary tzedakah obliga-
tion is to maintain the parents'
standard of living.
