Dorfman-Beneson

S

tephanie Dorfman and Avi Beneson were recently married in the out-
door pavilion at Congregation Shaarey Zedek. Rabbi Yechiel Morris of
Young Israel of Southfield officiated.
Stephanie is the daughter of Dr. Michael and Shelli Dorfman of West
Bloomfield. Avi is the son of Dr. David and Marci Beneson of Southfield.
Kimberly Schon, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were
Jeana and Vicki Beneson, sisters of the groom, and Dayna Fidler.
Best man was Freddie Goldman. Groomsmen were Rick Dorfman, brother of
the bride; and Bryan Schon, brother-in-law of the bride. Shira Schon, niece of
the bride, was flower girl. Also participating in the ceremony were the bride's
grandparents Ceil and Jerry Liebman of Southfield and Joyce Dorfman of
Florida and the groom's grandparents Laura Beneson of Southfield and Esther
and Jack Liwazer of West Bloomfield.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Saul Dorfman and the groom is the
grandson of the late Aubrey Beneson. •
Following a honeymoon in Israel the couple reside in New York City.

heryl Resnick-Ettinger and Joel David Steinberg were recently married
at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial. Rabbi Sherwin Wine officiated.
Cheryl is the daughter of Sy and Sandie Resnick of West Bloomfield.
Joel is the son of the late Benjamin and the late Vivian Steinberg.
Gabriella Resnick, Alexandra Resnick and Hannah Resnick, nieces of the
bride, were flower girls.
Cheryl and Joel were overjoyed to have Cheryl's children, Jordan Elan and
Jaime Aren, escort the bride to the chuppah.
The couple were further delighted to include Jordan and Jaime in the ceremo-
ny by presenting family commitment rings to them after lighting a family unify-
ing candle together.
Following the ceremony, the couple vacationed in Napa, Calif., where Joel was
the officiant at his best friend's wedding.
The couple will honeymoon in Italy and Greece and will reside in Southfield.
