Celebrity Jews from page 51
of Jon
Stewart to
look forward to.
When given
the hosting job,
Stewart said: "As
a performer, I'rn
truly honored
to
be hosting.
Jon Stewart
Although, as an
avid watcher of
the Oscars, I can't help but be a lit-
tle disappointed with the choice. It
appears to be another sad attempt
to smoke out Billy Crystal."
Recently, on his Daily Show pro-

Previously, I reported that
Christopher Guest and Eugene
Levy were co-writing a "movie-
within-a movie" film called For
Your Consideration, about what
happens when the word "Oscar" is
mentioned in
connection
with an actor's
.performance
in a movie that
is being
filmed.
Well, new
details have
Christopher
emerged from
Guest
a Guest inter-
view with
Variety. Guest said that in
Consideration, he will play a direc-
tor who has made 18 sitcom pilots
that have never aired. Levy will play
his agent.
Home For Purim is the title of the
movie being
made within
the movie.
Guest told
Variety: "Home
for Purim is an
extraordinarily
poorly written
movie. It's a
Eugene Levy
melodrama,
and it's just
awful. These
actors never would have imagined
this movie was going to change
their lives." (I cannot wait to see
"both" movies.) 1-1
