IDA GELIEBTER SCHWARTZ, 91,
former Detroiter of Rancho Mirage,
Calif., died Jan. 4, 2006. She a concert
pianist at an early age; later on she
started a sorority and became business
manager of
Progressive Linen in
Detroit. After World
War II, she and
Martin Moe married
and opened I&M
supermarket in
Hamtramck. She was
Schwartz •
devoted to her chil-
dren and grandchil-
dren.
Mrs. Schwartz is survived by her sons
and daughter:in-law, Harley Schwartz of
Palm Springs, Calif., Ron and Arlene
Schwartz of La Quinta, Calif.; daughter,
Carol Schwartz of Lake Orion; grand-
children, Marne and Jeff Gorman of
New York City, Ali Schwartz and her
fiancé, Josh Horowitz, of New York City,
Jessica Schwartz of La Quinta. She was
the wife of the late Martin. Moe
.Schwartz.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her sister
and brother-in-law, Betty and Herbert
Schein of Farmington Hills; sister-in-
law, Lillian Weinberg of Boca Raton,

LEE E. WALDBOTT, 88, of Oak Park,
died Jan. 11, 2006. A salesperson in the
cleaning supply business, he was active
witlithe Jewish Historical Society,
Temple Beth Elders and was a volunteer
with JVS and the Alzheimer's
Association. A life-long member of
Temple Beth El, Mr. Waldbott had also
been a Boy Scout leader.
He is survived by sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Joel and
Barbara Waldbott of

Wasserman; daughter,
Rita Bocolor; grand-
children, Sarah

late Richard Waldbott.
