F ay° Gene received a degree in Dance from Columbia University in
New York- City. At Columbia she performed with many of the country's top
1 choreographers from New York and LA, Faya's extraordinary talent and
''. personality earned her the lead role of Sophie for the Broadway musical
Mama Mia in 2003. In addition to Dance ; Faye recently completed a
Masters degree in Jewish Education from The jewish Theological Seminary.

homas and Rosanne Kukes of Bloomfield Hills are delighted to
announce the engagement of their daughter Dana Michelle Kukes to
David William Pogoda, son of Beverly Pogoda of New York City.
Dana graduated from the University of Michigan and works in sales at an
Internet search provider.
David graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland and is an assis-
tant vice president of a New York-based hedge fund.
A June wedding in planned in Michigan.

anielle Weiss and Aaron Karoly were married recently at the Hyatt
Regency in Dearborn. Danielle is the daughter of Susan and Robert
Weiss; Aaron is the son of Rose Anne and Robert Karoly of Toronto,

Canada.
Danielle's sisters, brother-in-law and niece, S_hira Weiss and Elana, David and
Batya Landman, were in the wedding party as were Aaron's family, sisters and
brothers-in-law, Aliza and Alan Jurkowitz, Elisheva and Avi Wachsman; nieces
and nephews, Julia and Zachary Jurkowitz, Tzvi and Kayla Wachsman; sister,
Dayna Karoly; brothers, Jonathan and Adam Karoly. Bridesmaids were Deanna
Dalezman, Melina Chopp, Allison Gellis, Adinah East, Ronit Pelman and Liz
Ojalvo.
The bride's grandparents Rev. and Mrs. Irvin Stern and Mrs. Patricia Weiss,
and the groom's grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Meyer Karoly also participated in
the ceremony.
Danielle is a graduate of Yeshivat Akiva and University of Maryland. Aaron is
a graduate of Yeshiva University and will attend graduate school next year. They
are living and working in New York City.
