to the Torah as a bat
mitzvah Saturday,
Jan. 21, at
Congregation Beth
Ahm. She is the
daughter of Janet
and Andrew Belsky
and sister of Rachel.
Belsky
Proud grandparents
are Rena.and Dave
Kresch and Iry and Sondra Belsky. She
is also the granddaughter of the late
Irene Belsky.
Elizabeth is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. As part of her mitz-
vah project, she frequently volunteers
at JARC's Beit Chana home.

Kyle William Chudler will read from
the Torah at Temple Israel Saturday,
Jan. 21, as he cele-
brates his bar mitz-
vah. He is the son .of
Beth and Kevin
Chudler and the
brother of Ethan.
His grandparents
are Ethel and
Chudler
Clifford Chu-dler and
Jean and Keith
Lyddy and his proud
great-grandparents are Donna Jean
and Jack Hauri. He is also the great-
grandson of the late William Swee- be.
Attending Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield, Kyle found
it especially meaningful to volunteer
at Gleaners Food Bank as part of his
mitzvah projects.

Max Alexander Kendler, son of
Debra and Steven Kendler, will be
called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah
Saturday, Jan. 21, at
Temple Kol Ami.
He is the brother of
Ginette and
Courtney. Proud
grandparents are
Kendler
Audrey and Harold
Leider, Rita and
Hershell Wais, Natalie and Earl
Kendler.
Max is a student at O.E. Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
His most meaningful mitzvah project
was accompanying his parents and a
team of physicians and nurses to the
Dominican Republic this past
September, where he volunteered his
time to help those less fortunate.

David Samuel Portney and Daniel
Aaron Portney will celebrate their
b'nai mitzvah Saturday, Jan. 21, as they
are called to read from the Torah at
Adat Shalom Synagogue. David and
Daniel are the children. of Drs.

Lisa attends Berkshire Middle School

Operation Good Cheer, delivering toys
to underprivileged children up north.
