The Tikkun Olam Award

The Jewish world is in an uproar over this powerful new film.
Created by the man who won Jewish praise for his production
of Schindler's List and for his noble attempt to preserve the
memories of the Holocaust, Munich is the story of the
murder of 11 Israeli athletes by Palestinian terrorists at the
Olympic games in Munich in 1972.

But in this production the issue of justice is obscured. The
Palestinian grievance finds sympathetic support. The morality
of Jewish retaliation and vengeance is questioned. Many Jews
have found the film disturbing.
