After moving to New Hampshire,
Dr. Rosen opened a private practice
in internal medicine in Suncook.
He also joined the Hitchcock Clinic
in Concord and was a consulting
endocrinologist at the New
Hampshire State Hospital. Over the
years, he served as a member and
chair of the Pharmacy and
Therapeutics Committee at
Concord Hospital and was a past
chair of the Department of Internal
Medicine there.
Dr. Rosen is survived by his wife,
Dr. Nancy Van Vranken; sons, David
Adam Rosen and Matthew William
Rosen; sister, Diane Gussin of West
Bloomfield.
Interment at Beth El Memorial

RUTH KRAVITZ STRAUS, 88, of

Boulder, Colo., died Jan. 1, 2006.
She is survived by her daughters
and sons-in-law, Judy Kravitz-
Zodda and Fred Zodda of
Framingham, Mass., Carolyn R. and
Gregory Grossman of Boulder; sons
and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey R. and
Fran Kravitz of Bloomfield Hills;
brother and sister-in-law, Bernard
and Dortohy Gelfand; grandchil-
dren, Charles Zodda, Gary Kravitz,
Alexandra Grossman; great-grand-
children, Evan and Elise Kravitz.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Isadore A. (Al) Kravitz and the late
John Straus; daughter of the late
Abraham Gelfand and the late Clara
Gelfand; sister of the late Marvin
Gelfand.
Memorial services were held at
the home of Judy Kravitz-Zodda
and Fred Zodda in Framingham.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice.
