was the beloved wife of the late
Nathaniel B. Carroll.

SIDNEY COHEN, 94, of Novi, died
Jan. 3, 2006.
He is survived by his daughters and

in-law, Edith and Harold Black of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Jonah

Bass; great-grandchildren, Aaron,
David, Jake and Max. He was the
beloved husband of the late Ann
Cohen; father-in-law of the late Jerry
Chess.

IRVING FISHMAN, 87, of West
Bloomfield, died Jan. 2, 2006.
He is survived by his sons and daugh-
ter-in-law, Howard Fishman of
Houston, Texas, Charles and Kathy
Fishman of Farmington Hills; sister,
Mae Schwartzberg of Lauderhill, Fla.;
grandson, Jeffrey Fishman. He was the
beloved husband of the late Frances
Ann Fishman.

DR. MICHAEL DANZIG, 49, former
Detroiter of Florida, died Dec. 15,
2005. He was a family practice physi-
cian and member of the American
Osteopathic Association and Southern
Medical Association. He built living
reef aquariums and rebuilt cars with
custom painting.
Dr. Danzig is survived by his wife of
18 years, Karen; daughter Danielle;
sister, Cheryl Rubinstein; brother,
Jeffrey Danzig and their families. He
was the son of the late Howard and
Trudy Danzig.
Contributions may be made to hos-
pice. Interment in Ormond Beach,
Fla.

BETTY L. FAGIN, 84, of Ann Arbor,
died Jan. 6. 2006. A partner with her
husband at Ann
Arbor Clothing in
downtown Ann
Arbor, she retired in
1999. An active

Israel Congregation
Sisterhood, she co-

founded, with her
husband, a Rotary
Holiday Fund for Needy Children. She
was also a member of Hadassah.
Mrs. Fagin is survived by her hus-
band of 40 years, Jack Fagin of Ann
Arbor; children, Sheryl Fagin, Terri
and Mike Martin, Jacquie Traub, Gary
and Maureen Fagin; grandchildren,
Dr. Mark Fagin, Tara Traub, Taylor
Traub, Emily Fagin-Brown and Jason
Brown, Jennifer Fagin, Joshua Fagin
and Ryan Fagin; sister, Barbara
Baitinger. She was the beloved mother
of the late Candy Mutual and the late
Randy J. Fagin.
