Joshua is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. As part of his mitz-
vah project, he delivered meals to the
elderly through Detroit Meals on
Wheels.

Ari Benjamin Cicurel will become a
bar mitzvah at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek Southfield Saturday,
Jan. 14. He is the son
of Sari and Mitch
Cicurel and brother
of Marisa and Noah.

Shapiro of Grand
Rapids and Ceil
Cicurel of West
Bloomfield. He is also the grandson
of the late Sol Cicurel.
Ari is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
One of his most meaningful mitzvah
projects took place during the recent
family mission to Israel, where he
brought 1,000 games to an absorption
center in the Central Galilee.

Steven Nathan Hertzberg will read
from the Torah as he celebrates his
bar mitzvah Saturday, Jan. 14, at
Temple Israel. His parents are Simha
and Dr. Neil
Hertzberg and his
sister is Nicole.

chah will be his
grandparents Rose
and Joseph
Hertzberg and
Hertzberg
Haviva and Eli
Malka of Haifa,
Israel. He is also the
grandchild of the late Phyllis
Hertzberg.
Steven attends Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield. As
one of his mitzvah projects, he visited
the Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield several times, helping the
seniors do arts and crafts projects.

Joey Michael Leshman will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
Saturday, Jan. 14, at Temple Emanu-
El. He is the son of
Liz and Barry
Leshman and broth-
er of Jessica and
Drew. Proud grand-
parents are Richard
Kahn, Sandra and
Arnold Leshman.
Leshman
He is also the
grandchild of the
late Rosalind Kahn.
Joey is a seventh-grade student at
Norup Middle School in Oak Park.
For his mitzvah project, he volun-
teered for the Friends at Home
