andra Silver of Huntington Woods and Drs. Bette and Steven Glickfield of
West Bloomfield are delighted to announce the engagement of their
daughter Shana to Andrew Kossow, son of Renata and John Kossow of
Bethesda, Md.
Shana received her bachelor of science degree from Michigan State University
and her law degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. She is a public
affairs consultant with Issue Dynamics Inc. in Washington, D.C.
Andrew received his bachelor of fine arts degree from the Rhode Island School
of Design and his master's of architecture from Princeton University in New
Jersey. He is vice president of Kossow Management Corporation, a real estate
development company in Rockville, Md.
A March wedding is planned in Washington, D.C.

Faya Gene received a degree in Dance from Columbia University in
New York City. At Columbia she performed with many of the country's top
choreographers from New York and L.A. Faya's extraordinary talent and
personality earned her the lead role of Sophie for the Broadway musical
Mama Mia in 2003. In addition to Dance, Faye, recently completed a
.• Masters degree in Jewish Education from The Jewish Theological Seminary.

A

Faye continues to strengthen her love of dance and education through
her role as Creative Director at Star Tax Event Productions — she has taken
her unique abilities and applied them to create the most EXCITING pre-teen
dance program in the country.

elen and Manny Hauer of West Bloomfield celebrated their 65th wed-
ding anniversary Dec. 18 at an open house hosted by their daughters
— A., and sons-in-law, Sylvia and Stuart Willner of Farmington Hills; Sandy
and Ron Uscher of Oakton, Va.; and Debi and Doug Weiner of Plano, Texas. Their
grandchildren, Jordan (Danette) Willner of Wixom; Dawn Uscher of Coral
Gabbles, Fla.; Darren Uscher of Coral Gables; Allison Weiner of Milwaukee, Wis.;
and Russell Weiner of Austin, Texas, were also present along with other family
and friends.
