He was a cost estimating supervisor at Ford Motor Company, a volunteer at Jewish Vocational Services, a docent at the Holocaust Museum and he assisted new immigrants in filling out job applications. Mr. Schuman is survived by his wife, Florence Schuman; daughter, Nancy Schuman of Washington; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lauri Schuman of West Bloomfield; grandchildren, Noah and Danielle Konilow, Avery, Samantha and Erica Schuman; sister, Denah Bookstein of California; brothers-in-law and sis- ters-in-law, Norton Cohen, Helen and Harold Klau and Ethel Brown.
