and received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Michigan. She was the recipient of the Grinnell Grand Opera Scholarship in 1960, when she moved to New York City. Mrs. Costa-Greenspon performed as a mezzo-soprano with the New York City Opera Company for more than 30 years. In 1997, shel helped created the musical theater pro- gram at the Bronx High School of Science, where she taught for the past seven years. Mrs. Costa-Greenspon is sur- vived by her husband, Giorgio Costa; son, Stefano; loving rela- tives, Sharon Rose, Marilyn Guss, Milton and Iris Zaft, Stephanie Zaft, Jeffrey, Marvin and Howard Guss, Elisheva and Adam Samuels.
