Or Program and Detroit area synagogues are co-sponsoring
a "Save our Synagogues Concert" at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek, Southfield, 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18. The concert
will benefit synagogues in the South harmed by the recent hurri-
canes.
The concert will feature the New Orleans Klezmer All Stars and
the Kidz Klez Band of Michigan. The New Orleans Klezmer Band
will also lead free Klezmer Klinic Workshops from 1 to 5 p.m. for
student musicians.
Tickets for the- concert are $18 per person; patron tickets for
the concert and afterglow are $180 per couple.
