Project Trust

B'nai B'rith Great Lakes Region,
Jewish Family Service of Metro
Detroit and North Farmington
High School are sponsoring
Project Trust in area schools. •
High school students perform
educational prevention plays for
elementary, middle and high
school students.
For grades 3-5, Peace Up
focuses on channeling anger,
harassment, violence, conflict
resolution and acceptance of dif-
ferences. For grades 6-12, What
Goes Around deals with harass-
ment, violence, stereotypes, con-
flict resolution and respect.
What Goes Around will be
performed Dec. 8 at Clarenceville
Middle School in Livonia and on
Dec. 12 at Congregation Chaye
Olam in Bloomfield Township.

Adoption Seminars

Alliance for Adoption hosts com-
munity-wide information semi-
nars for people interested in
International or Domestic
Adoption 7-9 p.m. on the third
Thursday of each month at the
Jewish Family Service Orley
Family Building, 6555 W. Maple,
West Bloomfield.
The next Options for Adoption
meeting will take place Thursday,
Dec. 15. Prospective parents with
questions about adoption are
encouraged to attend.
Alliance for Adoption is a divi-
sion of Jewish Family Service of
Metropolitan Detroit, offering
home studies for domestic and
international adoption; child
placement; pregnancy, infertility
and post-placement counseling;
and searches-reunions. All adop-
tion services are non-sectarian
and tailored to the individual
needs of each member of the
adoption triad.
Alliance for Adoption is always
accepting profiles of pre-adoptive
parents interested in domestic
adoption, including home stud-
ies, "dear birth-parent" letters,
and photographs.
