Ruth and Arnold Taylor, former Detroiters of Sun City, Ariz., cele-
brated their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 14. The occasion was
marked at an oneg luncheon at Beth Emeth synagogue. The Taylors'
children are Stewart and Karen Taylor of Israel, Elizabeth Taylor-
Watnick and Sheldon Wartnick of West Bloomfield, and Mark and
Terry Taylor of Niles, Ill. They have eight grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.

ylvia Paul of Farmington Hills, formerly of Maplewood, N.J.,
celebrated her 95th birthday Aug. 21 with family and friends at
the home of her _granddaughter, Coreen Paul. Joining her for the
festivities were her sons and their wives, Suzanne and Charles Paul of
Farmington, and Janis and Edward Paul of Port Republic, N.J. She was
honored with the presence of her grandchildren, Coreen Paul and
Richard McElroy of Farmington, Vincent Paul of New York City, Sara
and John Bowman of Farmington, Katherine Paul of Philadelphia and
Jean and Ben Goodman of Quincy, Mass. Other guests included her
great-grandsons Chazz and Anthony Paul, Nathaniel Bowman,
Harrison and Leonid Goodman.
