Hannah Scarlett Weiner, daugh-

Torah as she celebrates her bat
mitzvah Friday, Nov. 18, at Temple
Israel. Her proud grandparents are
Sara and Marvin Hoffman. She is

also the grand-
child of the late
Phyllis King
Weiner. Her
excited great-
grandmother is
Isabelle Mark.
Hannah is a
Weiner
student at
Warner Middle School in
Farmington Hills. Her most mean-
ingful mitzvah project was volun-
teering at Ross Animal Hospital,
helping to feed and exercise the
animals.

ulie Beth Kaplow and Alan Rodney Prossin were recently mar-
ried at Knollwood Country Club in West Bloomfield. Rabbi Paul
Yedwab and cantorial soloist Neil Michaels of Temple Israel offi-
ciated. Julie is the daughter of Lois and Robert Kaplow of Farmington
Hills. Alan is the son of Andrea and Albert Prossin of Montreal,
Canada.
Julie Kittredge and Michelle Saltz were matrons of honor.
Bridesmaids included Aviva Mackenzie and Lisa Fiala, sisters of the
groom, and Monica Yudovich, Tamar Mendelson and Jessica Wolland.
Andrew Prossin, brother of the groom, was the best man.
Groomsmen included Martin Fiala and Jean-Marc Mackenzie, broth-
ers-in-law of the groom, as well as Jeffrey Kaplow, brother of the
bride.
The groom's niece Taylor Mackenzie was the flower girl; the ring
bearers were the groom's nephews Austin Fiala and Connor
Mackenzie.
Julie and Alan were honored to have in attendance the bride's
grandmother Ruth Silverman, who was accompanied down the aisle
by her grandson Jared Silverman.
The couple reside in Jersey City, N.J.
