been named president of the
Michigan Judges Association, the
youngest circuit judge to hold that
position. Elected to the Oakland
County circuit bench in 1996, she

The board of directors of Delphi
Corporation named David M.
Sherbin of West Bloomfield, as
vice president and general counsel.
He serves as the company's chief
compliance officer. As a member of
the Delphi Strategy Board, the
company's top policy-making
group, he will report to Chairman
and CEO Robert S."Steve" Miller.
Sherbin most recently was vice
president, general counsel and sec-
retary for Pulte Homes Inc., based
in Bloomfield Hills.

The International Facility
Management Association has
named Frederick R. Weiss of West
Bloomfield, IFMA fellow of the
Ford Motor Co., to its 2005 class of
IFMA fellows. He will be honored
during the
IFMA's awards
of excellence
dinner in
Philadelphia.
Weiss has twice
received the
Weiss
Distinguished
Member Award
from the southeastern Michigan
Chapter of IFMA.

for United Way of Southeastern
Michigan. He comes from Wayne
State
University's
Center for
Urban Studies
in Detroit,
where he was
director of the
Metzger
Michigan
Metropolitan
Information Center. Metzger will
develop measurement tools that
monitor the performance of both
internal and external progress at
United Way.
