He was the founder and owner of Production and Equipment Company in Detroit. He was also a former science teacher. Mr. Zimmerman is survived by his daughter, Denise Zimmerman of California; grandchildren, Sarah and Rachel Zimmerman; sister-in-law, Gloria Goodman; companion, Joyce Stuart and her family, Allison and Steve, Peter and Sondra, Brandt and Bonnie and grandchildren. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen "Atara" Zimmerman; devoted father of the late David Zimmerman; loving brother of the late Lorraine Weisman, the late Esther Rochlin, the late Anne Fox, the late Harry Zimmerman; dear brother-in-law of the late Irving Weisman, the late Ben Rochlin, the late Sid Fox, the late William Goodman, the late Connie Cohn and the late Lou Cohn.
