Upon his return, he attended Wayne State University, earning a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and a mas- ter's in pharmacy administra- tion. Mr. Miller was a member of Pi Tau Sigma (now Sigma Alpha Mu) Fraternity and had a dis- tinguished Miller career as chief pharmacist of Receiving Hospital and pharma- cy director of Metropolitan Hospital and Health Centers. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Helen; children, Randall and Rosebeth Miller of Fairbanks, Alaska, Greg and Binke Miller of Seattle, Wash., Amy Miller and Mitchell Hunter of Seattle, Joshua and Brandi Miller of Maple Valley, Wash., Jeffrey and Barbara Miller of Southfield; grandchildren, Daniel, Miranda, Noah, Meghan, Sara, Jason, Sam, Travis, Mariah, Alex, Jared. She was a filing clerk for Hadley Furnitureworld and Shearson Lehman Hudson financial servic- es, both in Detroit. She also worked for a chemical analysis laboratory in Cleveland. Ms. Rosin was a member of the Fairmont Temple and secretary/treasurer of the State Board of People First of Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Sara Levy and the late Joseph Rosin. He attended Detroit Country Day School, where he excelled in ath- letics and garnered 20 scholar- ships to universities. He chose Kenyon College and then went on to pioneer successful careers in the lumber and building-devel- oping arenas. He was passionate about fishing, traveling, tennis and golf. Mr. Ross is survived by his adoring wife of 20 years, Sandra; sister, Barbara Mazer; sons and daughters-in-law, Lance and Amy Ross, Jeff, Scott and Janne Sandler; daughters and son-in- law, Jodi Veilette, Natalie and Steven Dickstein; grandchildren, Phoebe, Aidan, Lindsay, Barry, Emma, Hanna, Jamie, Susan, Jordan and Anna.
