Cleveland, Ohio, died Nov. 1,
2005. He was a practicing C.P.A.
and attorney for over 55 years.
He graduated from Cleveland
Heights High School, where he
played varsity tennis. He then
graduated from the Wharton
School of the University of
Pennsylvania in 1945, where he
also played on the varsity tennis
team. Attending Case Western
Law School on an academic
scholarship, he graduated in 1950
and he finished second in the
state when he passed the bar
exam. Two years later, while trav-
eling on a train to Columbus, he
reviewed his textbooks on
accounting and passed the C.P.A.
exam.
