In addition to the comedy, there were MOV-
ing tributes to one of JARC's founders,
Norman Wachler, who died in August at age
77. Wachter served as JARC president and as a
board member and chief fund-raiser during his
36 years with the organization.
"He was a friend and mentor and truly the
soul of JARC," said Nusbaum.
"He was a visionary and a great man, and he
will be sorely missed." added JARC President
Dan Gilbert of Franklin.
