I contact many area shelters that really
appreciate these donations. The family is
pleased it goes to those in need and we
consider it a wonderful mitzvah.

Bloomfield, died Oct. 21, 2005.
He is survived by his son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Jeffrey and
Kimberly Watzman of Franklin;
daughters and sons-in-law, Celia

Bloomfield, Suzan and Jonathan
Jones of West Bloomfield; grand-
children, Brandon, Taryn,
Stephen, Merrill, Max, Mitchell
and Erica. He was the beloved
husband of the late Tema
Watzman.

Locally, The Greater Detroit
Chapter of Hadassah, a
women's volunteer Zionist
organization, is a positive force
in the Jewish and greater
Detroit communities. It fosters
Jewish values and identity
promotes health awareness,
and provides personal growth
for its members through
educational, spiritual, social
and community service
opportunities. A strong
connection to Israel is
maintained through support of
its health care, research,
education and social services.
As an organization,
HADASSAH, the Women's
Zionist Organization of
America, was founded in 1912
by Henrietta Szold. Since its
inception, Hadassah has
remained unwavering in its
devotion to Judaism, Zionism,
and American ideals.

MAXINE PHYLLIS WEISS, 87,
of Pflugerville, Texas, died Oct.
21, 2005.
She is survived by her daugh-
ter, Joan Graj of Pflugerville;
granddaughter, Farrah (Roger
Friffioen) Graj; great-grand-
daughter, Hannah. She was the
beloved wife of the late David
Weiss.
Interment at Machpelah
Cemetey. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one's choice.
