in considering you as an Administrative Civil Service Commissioner.

The Administrative Civil Service (ACS) Commission is the body
responsible for ensuring a fair and equitable employment process with-
in the City of Southfield. ACS Commissioners also serve on the
Southfield Employees Retirement System (SERS) Board, and on the
Retiree Health Care Benefits Board of Trustees.

7-10 yrs. experience in Jewish communal service.
Proven ability in leadership/management capacity.
Masters degree preferred.

The ACS Commission meets on Tuesday evenings on a bi-weekly basis.
A schedule is established for each year and posted at the Commission's
final meeting of the year. Occasionally, special meetings are scheduled
to handle lengthy or complex issues. The SERS Board meets monthly,
usually on the same evening as the ACS Commission meetings. The
Retiree Health Care Board meets quarterly.
