iriam and Jack Shenkman celebrated their 65th wedding
anniversary Sept. 15. Their children, Elaine Beresh, Gloria
and Martin Cohen, Arnold, Martin and Patti, their grand-
children and great-grandchildren shared in the celebration at a serv-
ice at Congregation Beth Ahm in West Bloomfield followed by a lunch-
eon. Other family members and dear friends also shared in the sim-
chah. After the holidays, the Shenkmans will continue their celebra-
tion with other family members in New Jersey.

arbara and Larry Traison of Bloomfield Hills will celebrate
their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 15 at a family dinner
given by their children. Celebrating will be son and daughter-
in-law, Steven and Janice Traison; son-in-law, Jeff Devries; and grand-
children, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Randi Traison, Danny, David and
Rachel Devries. In honor of the anniversary, a donation was made to
the Sheri Traison Devries Ph.D. Scholarship Fund at Hilllel Day Schoo
of Metropolitan Detroitl, named in memory of the Traisons' daughter
Sheri.
