s. Jan Ava Zausmer and Rabbi Michael J. Schorin, were
recently married at Shallots Bistro in Skokie, Ill. Rabbi
Joshua Hammerman of Stamford, Conn., officiated.
Jan is the daughter of Martha Zausmer Paul and Larry Paul of West
Bloomfield and the late Norman Zausmer. Michael is the son of the
late Harry Schorin and the late Henrietta Schorin Metosky.
Mrs. Nancy Zausmer Levy, sister of the bride, was the matron of
honor. Dr. Gerald Schorin was his brother's best man. Jan is the moth-
er of Aryeh, Shlomo, Eliahu and Mickey Karbal.
Michael is a staff chaplain and the rabbi at Northwestern Memorial
Hospital in Chicago. Jan works as a business analyst for Allstate
Insurance Company in Northbrook, Ill.
The couple reside in Skokie.
Kallen-Katz
- Tictoria Kallen and Michael Katz, formerly of Birmingham,
" were married recently in a private ceremony at Temple Beth
Shalom in Summerlin, Nev. The ceremony was officiated by
Rabbi Felipe Goodman.
Victoria and Michael both have children from previous marriages,
Juliana and Zachary Kallen and Logan Ryan Katz. The couple recently
purchased a home in the Las Vegas suburb of Summerlin.
They will honeymoon in Hawaii.
