As a volunteer for the Michigan Region of Women's American ORT, she found the project with- in the organization. She decided to raise money for ORT's campaign to help Israeli students in low-income families with basic needs. She also found a convenient source of information. Her grandmother, Michelle Passon, is ORT's Michigan Region devel- opment director. Rachel has been a volunteer in the OW office for more than two years. Her duties include sending out fund-raising letters.
