"It's about getting involved in
Jewish life — it's about people finding
other Jewish people, creating a com-
munity," said Rabbi Hornsten.
"I really think synagogue affiliation
is something you can reap so many
benefits from," said hostess Shari
Finsilver. "It can be spiritual or reli-
gious if that's what you want; it can be
social — whatever works for you."
