How many people came to the
Lone Pine walk, and how much
money did you raise?
"We had about 150 people,
probably about 60 families. The
staff was very supportive — we
had six teachers and their fami-
lies and our principal, Mary
McCuen. We raised about $7,200
that was sent to the American
Red Cross, the Salvation Army
and Save the Children
Foundation Hurricane Relief
Fund.
(The district's Walk-Around-
the-Clock event raised $26,000
for hurricane relief.)
"The Bloomfield Township
police were there to help because
we were crossing Lone Pine
Road."
